ROBERTO VILLA

founder, producer, musician, phonographic production manager, sound engineer

Born in 1982, he approaches music from a very young age by studying piano and clarinet. He starts playing the electric bass in 1998; passionate about double bass, in addition to undertaking a course of classical studies he studied with Massimo Moriconi, and subsequently graduated, under the guidance of Maestro Paolo Ghetti in jazz composition and improvisation at the "GB Martini" conservatory in Bologna.
Together with Stefano Cantarelli, he founded the nowave blues duo -JD Hangover- and in 2016 under the name -Villa- he began working on original instrumentals, releasing three 7-inch singles.
